Peer Review

As you know, participation in the AICPA Peer Review Program enables you to enhance your firm’s quality control policies and procedures, see how your firm measures up to other firms and learn from other firms’ best practices. In addition, many firms benefit by using their Peer Review results as a marketing tool to underscore their commitment to quality.

The selection of your Peer Reviewer is critical to receiving the full benefit of your peer review. Ideally, you want to match your Peer Reviewer’s experience to your firm’s experience for maximum efficiency and insight. At Tette, Ingersoll & Co. CPAs, PC a division of Allied Financial Partners, we specialize in small to mid-size businesses, including construction, not-for-profit and employee benefit plan audits. In addition, our client base includes a wide array of industries such as healthcare, retail services and specialized manufacturing. Our goal is to provide our peer review clients with an efficient and cost-effective Peer Review, or pre-peer review preparation and consultation, that enhances your firm’s quality control and overall audit practice success. We understand the needs and limitations inherent for smaller CPA firms and work with you to impart best practice solutions.

Over the last fifteen years I have served a wide array of clients and industries, including healthcare, not-for-profit, mortgage banking, as well as manufacturing and distribution. In addition to traditional audit services, I also lead our firm’s audit, accounting and peer review practice. I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you about our services and to answer any questions that you may have. I can be reached at (585) 410-6733 ext. 144 or via email at jmayausky@alliedfp.com.
